6 Session Series
New to using Google in your classroom, looking for a Google refresher, or ready to start getting your materials and Classroom ready for the school year? Join this 6-session professional learning series! In the first 5 sessions of this series, you will work at your own pace (asynchronous) in our Teach:able platform. On August 17th come to the Google Lab to ask your questions face to face. No set topics, just a time for you to work side by side with the EdTech Specialist and other peers. We may even have some fun tips and tricks to share along the way. Choose a ½ day AM or PM session. Completion of all 6 session = 8 SCECHs
Any Lenawee County teacher that completes all 6 sessions
will be put into adrawing for a Chromebook!

July 20 - Optimize Drive
Drive lets you keep all your work in one place! Learn how to organize and access your files, photos, and videos from any device.
July 27 - Productivity to Paperless
Collaborate with colleagues and students in real-time with Docs, Sheets, and Forms. Learn how these apps boost productivity and help you and your students become a less paper-consuming classroom.
August 3 - Engaging with Creativity
Create engaging presentations, ebooks, newsletters, and more with Google Slide. Collect real-time feedback, engage student groups, and collaborate with Jamboard.
August 10 - Google Classroom

Google Classroom Part 1:
This is a work at your own pace course that will help you set up your first Google Classroom and will focus on creating a Google Classroom, online logistics, assignments, and courses.
Google Classroom Part 2:
Continue building your Google Classroom. Focus on navigation, grading, feedback, and other apps that integrate with Google Classroom.
