The MLK Snapshot

Clear communication and connecting with families are two of our top priorities at MLK! The Snapshot is our weekly information newsletter sent every Thursday afternoon. Our hope is that you will be able to use this Snapshot to stay connected with important calendar dates, events, and everything else related to MLK.

We hope everyone is enjoying all the fun that summer brings. I would like to officially welcome all of our new 4th grade families, and welcome back our returning 5th grade families!

I want to start this issue with an invitation! This year's MLK Ice Cream Meet and Greet will be happening Tuesday, August 27th from 5:00-7:00pm. The purpose of this day will be to meet as many families as possible while enjoying ice cream, music, and games! See below for the full details.

Near the end of August you will receive two welcome letters from our main office. This will include a welcome back letter from me, as well as a letter from your child's assigned teacher. Please be on the lookout for these important communications.

On Tuesday, August 27th please join us from 5:00-7:00pm on the MLK front lawn for our summer Ice Cream Meet and Greet!

We will have music, games, and (of course) ICE CREAM for the whole family! This will also be a great chance to meet the PTO and come together as a school community! We hope you can make it.
