State-Required Ohio State Tests for Fall 2024
This fall, Thomas Worthington High School will continue to administer state-required end-of-course assessments to all students currently enrolled in Government & students who need to retake specific exams. Testing will be December 2nd - 6th as well as Government testing on Tuesday, December 12th. Throughout the testing window TWHS will operate on a regular bell schedule.
Who will participate in state testing?
Students currently enrolled in American Government during Semester 1 2024 will take the American Government end-of-course exam.
Students who completed summer coursework in any of the courses listed below may be eligible to take an OST.
ELA II, Math I, Math II, American Government, American History, Biology
Students who have already taken a test but need to increase their scores to graduate will be assigned retakes.
Not all TWHS students will be participating in this round of testing. If your student is testing, students and parents/guardians will receive an email indicating registration, test location, and other information.
For students participating in fall testing, testing will begin each morning at the start of the school day (8:40am) so it is important that you are on time to school on your testing day(s). You will also need to bring your charged district issued chromebook.

State-Funded Digital SAT
WORTHINGTON SCHOOLS
State-Funded SAT ● March 11, 2025
Reminder: Worthington Schools will be administering
the state-funded Digital SAT to all juniors on
March 11, 2025
Worthington Schools will register all juniors for the state-funded Digital SAT. This will be administered during the school day on March 11, 2025. Students have the opportunity to prepare for the assessment at any time using the resources below. If you have any questions, please contact your school counselor.
Digital SAT Practice and Preparation
Bluebook™ practice test: This is the best and most accurate way to ensure you're measuring your knowledge of the skills on the actual test. It's also a valuable introduction to the Bluebook testing app, which you'll use both for practice tests and on test day. Plus, when you practice in Bluebook, your practice scores will be available in My Practice, where you'll find helpful information about your
performance on different content areas so you can target your practice more effectively.
Khan Academy®: For a skill check outside of Bluebook, students can take Khan Academy's SAT Course Challenge for both the Reading and Writing Test and the Math Test. These challenges will give you a snapshot of your performance on different content areas, which you can use to decide what you want to study.
TWHS Guest Speaker Interest Form
Do you work in a career that you think connects to content inside the classroom? Do you have a passion for introducing younger generations to the work that you do? Then, TWHS needs you! We are looking to compile a database of potential guest speakers from the Worthington Community at large. The goal is that teachers can utilize the database to find guest speakers that are relevant to their curriculum.
