Badges on School Campus
As you are aware, this year DCHS implemented a new safety measure on campus requiring all students and district staff to wear a lanyard and photo ID at all times while on school property. This important measure is to further support our efforts to offer a safe and secure environment, also allowing us to quickly identify those who belong on our campus. We appreciate everyone’s continued efforts to ensure students are wearing their lanyard and photo ID.
As a reminder, if a student forgets their lanyard and photo ID, they will need to print a missing ID sticker at one of the 3 campus offices (Main, Academic & Counseling, or Annex) and ensure it is worn and visible at all times while on campus.
If a student has lost their badge, a replacement one can be purchased in the Annex Office. The cost is $12 and the “My School Bucks” account will be invoiced.
There may be consequences for students that do not wear their badge consistently, including those who continue to print missing ID stickers. Note that the number of “missing id” stickers printed are recorded and will reset each semester.
General information can be found in the Student Handbook which outlines the Deer Creek School District board policies and procedures pertaining to high school students.
Badges at School Events
IMPORTANT
DCHS Students will be required to wear the badge around the neck the entirety of DCHS sporting events. Students will not be allowed to enter the game without their badge. They will not be able to show us their Infinite Campus. Students, please wear your badge to the game for the entire time you are on campus.
Families, PK-8 students will be required to have a guardian with them at games in order to enter. PK-5 students must have an adult take them to concession stands, restroom, and food trucks.
