The Buzz at Westbrook School
April 21, 2023
From the Principal...
Dear Westbrook Families,
We are excited to celebrate Disability Awareness Week, April 24th - 28th. We are so grateful to Katianne Olson, Fairview special education teacher, for organizing primary activities for our Westbrook students. Please see this link for the disability awareness week activities.
Thank you to the amazing PTO for providing an author visit next week with David Biedrzycki. Students have been counting down the days until his visit, and our librarian, Carol Capra, has been reading his books so the students are familiar with his children’s literature.
First-grade students are excited to travel to their new school on Thursday. The PTO provided t-shirts will be distributed by teachers next week. The second-grade students at Lions Park and Fairview are thrilled to show off their classrooms and teach the first-graders everything they need to know about second grade. The PTO will host first grade spring parties on Friday, April 28th.
For your children,
Danielle Crandall
