A Message From the Principals
Hello Barrington! We hope you are having a fantastic summer! We would like to take a minute to introduce ourselves as the new admin team here at Barrington. We are so excited to start this incredible journey with all of you. We can already tell that Barrington is an amazing place to be from all the warm welcomes we have received. We can not wait to meet you all very soon! Until then, keep soaking up those summer memories! Please take a moment to read this update and mark your calendars for all our upcoming August events.

Kindergarten Screening
We are so excited to welcome the Upper Arlington Class of 2037! If you have not already done so, please schedule a kindergarten screening appointment using this link and answer a few questions to help us get to know your child. If you are unable to attend on the dates of our screening (August 6th or August 7th), we will conduct your child’s screening during the first week of school. Please also be sure to note your appointment date and time before submitting the form. We look forward to meeting you soon!
School Supplies
It’s back! After hearing positive feedback last year, the PTO has again ordered school supplies in bulk for ALL Barrington students! No more searching store after store for a certain color folder or buying a 5-pack of glue sticks when you only need one!
For the convenient price of $35 per student, school supplies are ordered in bulk and delivered right to your child’s classroom in time for the first day. In addition to the tremendous cost savings to Barrington families, this process helps create equity among our students and ensures everyone has just what they need to kickoff the school year. Please use the link HERE to pay the $35 per student for school supplies.
Teacher Assignments
Teacher assignments can be found in Powerschool for students in grades 1-5 on Friday August 2nd beginning at 4:00pm. Kindergarten teacher assignments can be found in Powerschool on Friday August 9th beginning at 4:00pm. Please see below for instructions on how to locate your child's teacher in Powerschool.
How to Find Your Child’s Teacher Assignment:
Similar to last year, we will not send an email with your child’s specific teacher name. Instead we ask that families log into PowerSchool to review this information.
To review the name of your child’s teacher, log in to your PowerSchool parent portal as you would to review your child’s progress report or complete back to school or registration forms.
When you log in, you should see your child’s schedule screen that lists the teacher name.
If you need help with your log-in information, or you have not set up a PowerSchool parent account, please contact backtoschool@uaschools.org.
