Dear Families:

We are very proud of the hard work that our students have shown during all of the MCAS testing! We are done with all except for a few make-up tests for absent students! Great job!

I'm sure you are aware of students bringing collections of little plastic ducks and other tiny figurines to school. We have been trying to stop the trading of these items among students as this inevitably causes frustration and problems for students. At this point, we ask that students please keep these collections safe at home. Students have started to have them out and have been trading during non-recess times after being asked by staff to keep them in their bags or lockers until recess. It would help us a lot if you'd reinforce that these items should remain at home. Thank you!!

Additionally, if your child rides the bus to or from school, please reinforce appropriate bus behavior. We know that students start to kick their heels up a bit more at the end of the school year, however, behaviors on the bus have been steadily increasing and it would help if families reviewed bus behavior expectations at home, too! Thank you!! We really appreciate it!
