First Ambassador Meeting of the Year.
November Cloverbud Connections
Join Us for 4-H Cloverbud Connections. Looking for a fun and educational activity for your little ones? Bring them to 4-H Cloverbud Connections on November 23, 2024 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Lyon County/ Marhsall Library. This event is perfect for children grades k-2 to explore, learn, and make new friends through hands-on activities. Don’t miss out on this exciting morning of creativity and discovery.
We want to feature you.
As you are working on your project growth this year don't forget to document it with pictures. We wan those pictures for the Lyon County 4-H calendar we are making for the 2024-2025 4-H year. Please email us your great photos of projects you worked on as a group, any community service projects, and fun things your 4-H club did this year.
November Federation Meeting
The next Lyon County Federation meeting will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Extension office. We will be approving the proposed federation budget, approving the federation charter, making county goals.

SE Region Photography Day Camp.
Join us at the SE Region Photography Day Camp. Learn about different types of photography, what makes a good photo, how to excel at 4-H photography judging, and get some practice taking pictures. All experience levels are welcome. Bring your own camera/phone if you have one. If not, cameras will be provided. All youth in grades 3+ are welcome to attend this FREE event at The Grand in New Ulm (210 North Minnesota St. New Ulm, MN 56073). Register in 4-HOnline by December 5th. Super Sitters Virtual Clinic
We are excited to bring you our Super Sitters Virtual Series this winter. Our goal is for you to walk away with the knowledge to be a Super Sitter Hero.
Dates: November 18, 19, 25, & 26; Dec 2 & 3 from 5:45 p.m. - 7 p.m.
For youth in grade 4 and up.
Registration deadline is November 13.
There is no cost for the event.
The Clinic will include: Hands on learning activities to do at home, information on ages and stages, baby well care, healthy snacks, speakers from public health and local agencies
Prepare for the Fair- Agronomy Project
4-H seed to showcase: Prep your agronomy project for the county fair.
Join our 2-part agronomy workshop series Dec. 2 and Dec. 30 to learn how to prepare your seeds like a pro. From selecting the best seeds to creating an award-winning display, we've got everything you need to impress the judges. Open to all youth in grades 3+. Don’t miss this chance to level up your 2025 county fair project.
