Two PBGHS SGA Members Will Serve as District Officers

Congratulations!

Palm Beach Gardens High School Student Government attended the District 5 Rally this past weekend. Two of our SGA members campaigned for Vice President of District 5, and they WON! Congratulations to Shania Charles and Mikaella Simbulan! Both will represent PBGHS SGA and serve as co-district Vice Presidents for District 5.

PBGHS Earns Computer Science Award

Palm Beach Gardens High School, has earned the College Board's AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for expanding young women’s access to AP Computer Science Principles (CSP). This award acknowledges 1,127 schools for their work toward equal gender representation during the 2022-23 school year. Ours is one of only 834 schools to be recognized for achieving this important result in AP CSP. See Schools Awarded in 2023. This honor recognizes the outstanding work our school is doing to engage more female students in computer science. Congratulations to AP Computer Science teacher, Ms. Gritsenko!

Testing Information

💻Computers/Laptops Needed💻

PM2 Testing Update

Thank you to our families for helping us prepare students for PM2 Testing last Thursday, 1/18. Results have not yet posted to SIS, but student's can review results with their English teachers. If your student was not present on Thursday, they will receive information this week about makeup testing dates.

Are You a Senior that Needs to Pass the Reading &/or Math Test?

If so, you are registered to take the CLT (Classic Learning Test). This test is ONLY for SENIORS needing Reading and/or Math scores for graduation. The testing administration dates are below:

  • CLT (Classic Learning Test) - Saturday, January 27, 2024 @ 8:30AM
  • CLT (Classic Learning Test) In-School - Thursday, February 15, 2024
Remember to bring your charged computer/laptop and charger.

Food Finder

Hunger is a concern for many of our families in Palm Beach County. The United Way of Palm Beach County has developed a Food Finder map to assist families with finding food pantries and distribution locations. The Palm Beach County Food Finder Map now includes "Holiday Meal" events for food and toy giveaways in December. This list contains information provided by 211 and the Hunger Relief network. The website is updated regularly with new information.


The FindHelp.org website has various resources, including food, housing, and health-related locations.
