March 2025
Welcome Spring!
Spring is in the air, and we are excited to welcome the month of March with lots of learning, laughter, and fun! This month, we’ll be exploring themes of growth, nature, and change as we celebrate the arrival of spring. From St. Patrick’s Day festivities to hands-on science experiments and creative arts and crafts, there’s so much in store for our little learners. Be sure to check out important dates, upcoming events, and classroom highlights below. Let’s make March a month full of wonder and discovery!
Reminders for this month:
1) The weather can change quickly so be sure to pack warm clothes for your child even on the warmer days.
2) If your child is showing signs of illness, or has a runny nose that they cannot contain on their own, please keep them home until they are well enough to not spread their germs to others.
3) Please send your child with healthy food for snack and lunch. Chips and cookies do not help them thrive during our busy days.
4) Please clean up the playground if you use it at the end of each day. Our teachers are busy getting ready in the mornings and cannot clean up the playground at the end of the day and again in the mornings. Please properly supervise your child as well.
Thank you for enriching our lives with your children. We really do have the best jobs on earth and we appreciate our wonderful Little School children and their families.
With grace and love,
Kelly Amadeo, Director
Many Thanks!
We want to give a huge shout out to our amazing Book Fair coordinator, Elisa Blair! Her countless hours of volunteer work to make our book fair a success are very much appreciated!
We also want to thank Dutch Bros Coffee and the Szopa Family for their donation of coffee for our special parent event. Lastly, we want to thank our advisory board members, and parent volunteers who took shifts setting up, running the cash register, and cleaning up the book fair! You all are so greatly appreciated.
We also want to extend a huge thank you to our advisory board parents and teachers for their time in helping prepare for Family Fun Night, which was a huge success!

No School: March 17th-21st: Spring BreakMusic Class News!
March is an absolutely fantastic time of year. The icy grip of winter is loosening its hold, and the hope and beauty of spring are becoming more apparent with each passing day!
Our month kicks off with music theory. We'll be teaching our Little Schoolers how to keep a steady rhythm and how to read quarter notes and rests. Make sure to ask your children about the dirty-faced quarter note story! Our story this month is Jonah and the whale and we will be singing “Who Did Swallow Jonah”.
Let’s not forget about St. Patrick's Day! Our Little Schoolers will go on a quest for their very own pot of gold while celebrating with silly songs like "Leprechaun Pie." They'll also get to have fun playing rhythm sticks and dancing to traditional Irish music.
Finally, as we welcome the arrival of spring, we'll serenade the season with tunes like "Peter Rabbit," "Picking up Flowers," and "Going on a Bear Hunt."
March is truly a month of magic and music.
Warmest Blessings,
Ms Laura, Ms Sheri and Ms Jana
