A Note from Ms. Owens

We are approaching the mid-point of the first trimester and that means Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) are coming on Thursday, October 24. The online sign up for PTC will be out next week. Conferences will be available both in-person and virtually via Google Meet.

Thank you to everyone who supported SCA's dress down day to join the fight against childhood cancer. Because of your generosity, St. Catherine will send over $625.00 to The St. Baldrick's Foundation.

Looking ahead to this week, we do NOT have early dismissal on Wednesday, October 9. But we DO have early dismissal on Friday, October 11. Also, please note there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 14 in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day.

As we prepare for the coming of girls volleyball, boys basketball and indoor soccer, please make note of the requirement for a current school physical - as well as a waiver and concussion form - in order to participate. This includes evaluations and practices in addition to games. If your child does not have these items on file with the school, they will not be able to participate. This is a state requirement.

⭐⭐ Sign up today for our Chargers Walk Fundraiser! ⭐⭐

We are doing the Walk-a-thon (October 18) a little differently this year. The School Advisory Board has partnered with Booster.com to run the fundraiser. Booster provides a platform that allows families to sign students up and promote the fundraiser to family and friends (similar to American Heart Association or St. Baldrick’s fundraising) to help raise fund to support our school and teachers. They also help us coordinate the day-of event to make it super fun for the kids!!!

Please complete one form per child, per sport. There are multiple sections. You will receive an email of completion.

Registration will close on October 11. We will NOT accept any late registrations due to the requirement of sports physicals to the school and deadlines for the number of teams required to the leagues. There will be no exceptions.

***NO ATHLETE WILL BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN EVALUATIONS UNLESS THEY HAVE A CURRENT SPORTS PHYSICAL ON FILE AT THE SCHOOL.***

The Athletic Board will contact registered families via email to collect fees and uniform deposits.
