Dear Students and Parents,

We are excited to welcome you back on Wednesday, September 4. Here are a few reminders to help your first week go smoothly.

Important note for the first day of school:

Please write down your AFTERNOON bus number so you know which bus to look for. This will help make the afternoon a little less hectic for you. This information is available on the Home Access Center (HAC) under the "Demographic" tab.

Our Team Journey t-shirt sales are live through September 15. There are several different cuts, fabrics, and styles, but they will all be blue (our team color) and they all say Newtown on the front and have our Team Journey motto (Life is a Journey, not a Destination) on the back. Mr. Long and Mr. Dertouzos ask that all students purchase an agenda book from our school store. The cost is $5 cash, and students will be able to purchase them during lunch and during Period 8 the first week of school. If finances are a concern, please reach out to me and I will take care of getting one for your child.

Finally, I've included some additional team information as well as some policy reminders from the main office.

This year, the main office has required that all students purchase an assignment book for $5 from the school store. A school store sales cart will be coming room-to-room during Period 8 all week.

Your lunch period is based on your Per. 4 class. See below:
