Students will be able to see their schedule in Infinite Campus beginning Monday, August 19.

Linked below are the schedule change google forms for students to complete if an adjustment is needed. Any request to a student's schedule must be done by completing the google form. If you email your school counselor directly your request will not be processed. In making requests, please remember a few important details. Since the master schedule has been built with all students’ requests in mind, schedule changes are discouraged and will only be approved, pending the availability of space, for the following reasons:

The following are regarded as justifiable reasons for schedule change requests:

1. To correct computer errors.

2. To correct graduation deficiencies.

3. To make necessary changes due to summer school attendance.

4. To resolve scheduling conflicts.

5. To provide for placement in Special Ed. classes or to implement a student's I.E.P.

Schedules WILL NOT be adjusted for the following reasons:

1. Preference for a different teacher.

2. Preference for a different period or term.

3. Preference to be with friends in class.

Back to School Kickoff Days will be August 21 and 22. Students and families are asked to park in the front lot and enter through Door 1, which serves as our secure entrance to the building. For ADA access please park in the back lot and enter through Door 12.

Please proceed to the 3rd Floor Media Center for your student ID, bus pass, school picture, and chromebook checkout. After this you can stop by the 2nd Floor Main Office for senior purchase of parking pass or work/study release forms for juniors and seniors.

To help balance the flow of device checkout lines, we strongly encourage students to pick up their device during their scheduled time in the document linked below. If you are not able to attend during your scheduled time, please come when you can and we will do our best to fit you in.

Everything available to students on kick-off days will also be available to students at our Open House on August 28 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. If you are unable to attend kick-off days and open house, please call the office and we can arrange a time for you to pick up the materials you need. Taking school pictures will not be available at other times, but students will be able to have their picture taken on the picture make-up/retake day in September.

Your school supply list will depend on the classes you have. Teachers will provide that information the first week of school. To start the year, it is good practice to bring a notebook, some folders, and pens/pencils. For math courses, it is recommended that a student have a TI-84 calculator.

We hope you will join us for our Open House, Wednesday August 28th, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.

If you want to take a walk through the school, meet your teachers, find out what school supplies you will need, and hear a little bit more about your classes, this is the night to do it.

For 9th grade families, and any families who are new to West High School, we will have an informational meeting in the auditorium beginning at 6:30pm.
