Cooking with Kids: Spooky Veggies and Dip
Involving children in preparing meals is a great way to teach them food preparation skills and the importance of healthy eating. This week, we are highlighting a fun way to get kids involved to make a platter perfect to enjoy this Halloween season. Be creative and use any vegetables you have on hand.
4-H Military Partnership
Third Thursday Together
Third Thursdays Together are educational webinars for extension and service professionals who work with military-connected youth and families. Sessions are free, but registration is required. Please share the link with colleagues, friends, and all who could benefit from connecting with professionals supporting military-connected youth and programs.
Connecting with the Partnership
If you have not, please join our Facebook group and share what's happening in your programs, ask questions, and get input from others working with military-connected youth. You must answer certain questions to be accepted as a member, so include those responses when you ask to join.

4-H Club Highlight
This week, we are highlighting the Springfield Blue Jeans and Boots Club!
We love hearing about ways that local 4-H clubs are engaging the community and this past week our very own Springfield Blue Jeans and Boots Club has been doing just that. They have come up with a great fundraiser to keep their community warm, by gathering new socks of all sizes! One of their club members, Grant Meister, took part in National 4-H Week and decorated a business's window on Main Street in Springfield, NE. The club also came together to be at the Boys Town National Cerebral Palsy Celebration and they brought some of their furry friends. These are some great ideas, way to engage!
