One quarter down, three more to go!
Students will receive their first report card on Monday, November 4th. This report card really gives you an idea of how things are going. Although this report card does not show up on a transcript, it is a part of the semester grade. In January, that report card will be on the transcript. It is important for students to make adjustments after quarter 1 that will benefit their final semester 1 report card. Students should take advantage of after school tutoring and be sure to ask questions and get clarification from teachers as we move into quarter 2.
We are also moving into our winter sports season. We will have girls and boys basketball, boys swimming and boys wrestling. Stay tuned for announcements for the beginnings of those seasons and tryouts. If your student is interested in any of these sports, they should have a physical completed prior to the first meeting or tryout. See Mr. Baskin for questions.
Tickets for our performing arts holiday concerts are on sale now! These shows will not disappoint. I look forward to seeing our students performing in their element every year. Come out and support our programs!
This month, we will have the first of four Title 1 Parent Workshops. Join us for information relevant to your student success, helpful tips & tricks, as well as food and a raffle. Our first one will be held on November 19th from 4:30pm - 7:30pm. Join us!
