We would like to inform you of an important update to our handbook regarding school threats. We encourage you to review this addendum to stay informed about our policies. As always, our top priority is to ensure that our students feel safe at school, and we are confident that this addition will further support that goal.

Please follow these guidelines when wearing your costume to the Bash:

1. Costumes can be worn to the Bash.
   
2. Costumes should depict positive characters. They should not depict violence, blood, or gore.
   
3. Weapons will NOT be allowed as part of any costume.
   
4. Light make-up can be applied for the Bash. Please limit make-up to faces only.
   
5. Adults may NOT wear costumes or Halloween make-up to the Bash, however Adults who are sponsoring a table for Trick-or-Treat are permitted to wear a costume without a mask.
   

The first grading period will end on Friday, Oct. 18 and report cards will be available on the Skyward Family Access Parent Portal on Tuesday, October 29 at 3 p.m. Parents have the option of printing out their student's report card. Parents needing access assistance to their Parent Portal on Skyward, should contact their child's school directly.

Each year, a representative from Dunebrook visits all Duneland Elementary Schools to give a body safety presentation. This year, our presentation is scheduled for Monday, November 11th.

There will be a Body Safety Presentation Preview Night on Tuesday, October 15th @ 6:00pm at Bailly Elementary. If parents/guardians want to know more about the presentation, please consider attending this event.

The Duneland School Corporation has createdCommunity Opportunities page to list activities, camps and fundraisers offered by our schools, groups and organizations; as well as extracurricular opportunities offered by external, not-for-profit organizations within the Duneland School Corporation boundaries.
