DMS Spelling Bee Results
The Discovery Middle School Spelling Bee went 8 rounds before Miles Gibson took first place. The words Miles spelled correctly to take the title were: writhes and bibliophile. Adley Lorentz was the runner up. They will both advance to the Regional Spelling Bee in Fergus Falls in early February. There were 9 spellers that qualified for the oral spelling round by being the top spellers in their grade level determined by a written qualifying exam. All contestants did an exceptional job!
