First Snow Day - Blizzard Bag #1 - Due November 26th
Blizzard Bag Information
Many Ohio school districts have transitioned to counting hours this year as opposed to days; however, due to the dates that our collective bargaining agreements were finalized with employees, our district will continue to count days for this year and next year. Consequently, we have five days to utilize as calamity days, and we will be required to account for any full days missed beyond five. However, the first three days beyond five will not need to be made up by students attending school. This year the district will utilize three Blizzard Bag days as make up days. On the first full day missed, Blizzard Bag Lesson #1 will be utilized, on the second full day missed, Blizzard Bag Lesson #2 will be utilized, and on the third full day missed, Blizzard Bag Lesson #3 will be utilized. If more than eight full days are missed, each day must be made up according to the schedule that would be set.
Blizzard Bag lessons will be placed on the district’s website, and students will have two weeks to complete the lessons and return them to the teachers. The lessons can be accessed via a link on the district’s homepage. Students who do not have access to the internet will be given paper copies of the lessons by their teachers and be given two weeks to complete the lessons and return them to teachers. All students except preschool students will be required to complete the lessons in lieu of making up days 6, 7 and 8.

We need your input to assist the Village and our Elementary Lego League team! Please fill out the survey!!!
Graham Local Schools is fortunate to have three FIRST Lego League teams, two at the middle school and one at the elementary school. In addition to creating and coding their Lego Robots for competition, each team is tasked with the challenge of coming up with a project that will benefit their community. This year's elementary team is teaming with St. Paris to discuss the possibility of building a multi-use path that would connect St. Paris to Graham Middle and Elementary Schools. The first step in this process is gathering data to gauge community response to this idea. The Village of St. Paris has created a survey to assist our elementary Lego League members as they tackle the pros and cons of such a project. We ask for your assistance in completing the survey. You can access the survey by visiting the Village of St. Paris website at, www.stparisohio.org , and clicking on the link that says, "we welcome your input" or by clicking on the link below, which will direct you straight to the survey.
Thank you for your assistance.
