Letter from the Principal

Dear Tiger Families,

It is hard to believe that the school year is coming to a close! Our 8th graders have only 20 days remaining, while the rest of our students have 27 days left. As we approach the end of the school year, please note that all tuition, extended care, lunch, and book fees must be paid in full. Your prompt attention to these balances helps us finish the year strong.

Important Dates:

Last Day for PreSchool/PreK: May 22nd
Last Day for K–7th Grade: May 23rd
Last Day for 8th Grade: May 14th

Upcoming Events:

8th Grade Living Stations:
Today, our 8th grade students are excited to host the annual Living Stations event at St. Teresa Church at 1:30 PM. This interactive experience is one of our favorite traditions and a highlight for the entire student body.

STUCO Spring Dance:
Attention all 5th–8th graders! Join us tonight in the gym from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for the STUCO Spring Formal. We hope to see many of you there for an evening of fun and celebration.

A Special Thank You:
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended last night’s Spring Concert for our Preschool–4th grade students. Under the excellent leadership of Mrs. Myers, our young performers did a wonderful job. We truly appreciate everything Mrs. Myers does to make our music program such a success.

Thank you for your continued support as we finish the year together!

Come join us at Joe’s Pizza & Pasta in Fairview Heights for a fundraiser to support St. Teresa Catholic School PTO! The fundraiser will run Tuesday, April 15th, Wednesday, April 16th and Thursday, April 17th during their business hours from 11am - 9pm. Dine-in or call in your order for delivery, curbside or carry-out and tell them you support St. Teresa Catholic School and they will donate a portion of proceeds to our PTO! Full menu along with daily specials! Don’t forget to stock your freezer with Joe’s frozen pizzas! Pre-orders are available! Thanks for supporting St. Teresa Catholic School PTO!

Please join us for an End of School Bash at the Soulcial Kitchen! Friday, May 2nd from 6-9PM. There will be food trucks, live music and face painting! The Soulcial Kitchen, Marco’s Express, Takozz and Big Boyz food trucks will all be participating and donating a portion of all proceeds to St. Teresa PTO! All St. Teresa students and families are welcome! We can’t wait to see you there to celebrate the end of the school year!

TIGER REMINDERS

ARRIVAL:

Doors will open at 7:30am in the front of school.

There will be no before school extended care for the 2024-2025 school year.

Please plan accordingly.

DISMISSAL:

Dismissal Times:
PreK 3 & 4 - 2:50 pm

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade - 2:55 pm

4th - 8th Grade - 3:00 pm

Due to safety reasons, all parents/guardians who are picking up students PreK - 3rd grade must walk up to get their student. We thank you for your understanding and support.

Students who are not picked up by 3:10 pm will be walked down to Extended Care.

Extended Care fees are $13 per day, per child from 3:10pm - 5:30 pm

LUNCH:

School lunches cost $3.80 per lunch with milk costing $0.75.

Students from Kindergarten to 8th grade will have four lunch choices; two rotating choices, a salad, or a sandwich.

PreK will have three lunch choices; two rotating choices, or a sandwich.

Lunches may be paid for through the prepay option of each students FACTS account or by cash/check in the St. Teresa School Office.

Parents/Guardians can deposit money for meals into their FACTS Management Account.

CHROMEBOOKS: 5th - 8th Grade

Please ensure your student is bringing their Chromebook back to school each day charged. Chromebooks that are not charged will be treated as the student is not prepared for class.

Water Bottles:

Students are allowed to have water/water bottles for daily use. Water bottles must be translucent in color. Water bottles should contain water only and should be stored in the student’s locker or in a place at the teachers discretion throughout the day.

Dress Code:

Students are allowed to wear ANY COLOR spirit wear on Fridays. All spirit wear must be in good taste and say St. Teresa School on it.

NON-UNIFORM DAYS

Children Mass Dates and Signup

Once a month at 11am Mass at St. Teresa Church, we have our "Children and Youth Mass" where our children/youth serve in the different ministries during Mass (altar server, greeter, usher, readers, gift bearers, choir).
