I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Break and got some much needed rest and relaxation. As we welcome our students back to school this week, we will begin a two week sprint to the end of the first semesters and midterm exams.
We will reward out students for an outstanding state report card (see picture below) on Friday. We will host a Christmas movie day featuring Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and other fun stuff.
Mid-Term Exams: We will push out the exam schedule to students this week and online in the next newsletter. Basically, it will be seventh period on Friday (Dec. 13), odd number classes on Monday (Dec. 16) and even on Tuesday (Dec. 17) with make up time on each day but the 13th. Exams will not be given early and will only be given during the assigned class periods. Students will be allowed to check out ONLY if all exams are competed that day. There will be no checking out and checking back in. Also, students may not check out until all students in that class period have completed their exam so as not to disturb those who have not finished. Any student who leaves class without permission during exams will be given a zero.
Basketball- Our basketball teams were in action during the holiday week. Our varsity boys beat Lindsay Lane and Cherokee. Our varsity girls beat Elkmont, Lexington and West Limestone. Our JV boys beat Colbert Heights.
