Last year we had 134 responses from families. My goal this year is to have 141.

The window is open 10/28/24-1/17/25

Our 3rd through 6th grade students will also have an opportunity to take the LCAP survey during class. If you wish to NOT have your child take the survey, please fill out the LCAP opt-out form attached below. I will have hard copies in the office as well.

Students will be allowed to wear costumes to school on Halloween this year. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Proper shoes - no sandals, crocs, high heels, etc.
• No weapons of any kind - toy guns, knives, swords, etc.
• Appropriately dressed - no bare midriffs, school appropriate logos, etc

I would like this to be a positive and fun experience for the students. Please remind your child of appropriate behavior even when there is a change in the normal routine. Teachers are still going to teach and hold our students to a high standard - even if they have a class full of clowns, Pokemons, and Chuckie dolls.

What a great night! The list of thank you's is endless: thank you to PTA for hosting, thank you to 5th grade for the pizza fundraiser, thank you to Blenderhead Ice Cream for donating money back to CHE, thank you to all the families that decorated their trunks to hand out candy (very creative people out there!), thank you to all the families who attended to make it a great community event, thank you to the teachers who attended after a long week, thank you for anyone and everyone who helped clean up afterwards. I'm grateful for this community and so fortunate that we have something special here.

Do you, or someone you know, have a 3 or 4 year old looking to enroll to our Early Learning Program for next year? If so, please fill out the form below. Feel free to send this to anyone you know who has a child in this age range. We are already planning for next year and want to make sure we have the space and staffing in advance. Thank you!

We are looking to purchase a Book Vending Machine for our library. If you have any loose change in your pocket or couch cushions, maybe you would consider tossing it into our change bucket in the front office.
