EMPTY BOWLS - Saturday, Sept. 10th
Join us this Saturday for Port Angeles Food Bank's Empty Bowls event! Funds raised go towards the Friday Food Bag Program that DIRECTLY supports our students! Last year, this program provided more than 8,100 food bags for students, and the Port Angeles Food Bank plans to deliver 11,000 food bags for the 2022/23 school year. Wow!

September 11th is Patriot Day and a National Day of Service and Remembrance
This year, we invite you to join PASD's AmeriCorps members who will hold a candlelight vigil at the 9/11 Memorial Waterfront Park at 811 Caroline St, Port Angeles, WA 98362. The vigil is held from 9:11am to 9:11pm.

On Saturday, 9/17, at 4:45pm, the Riders take on the North Kitsap Vikings in a matchup at Lumen Field in Seattle. Let's show some PA pride and support our team!

Families do not need to fill out Free and Reduced Meal Applications, but we must still collect family income information. The state uses that information to determine to fund for some of our education programs. Depending on your household income, your family may also be eligible for other benefits and waived fees. Port Angeles Healthy Youth Coalition Survey
Complete this quick, anonymous survey and message your name and a screenshot of a finished survey to 253-370-9562 to enter a drawing for $100 or a National Park Pass (winner's choice). Only one entry per person, must be 18 years or older to participate and live or work in the Port Angeles area. Raffle closes on September 15th!
The results are used to help better understand and better serve the needs of local youth. For over a decade, Washington Health Care Authority's Community Prevention and Wellness Initiative have conducted this community survey to learn more about the impact of underage substance use across the state.
