Hello Tolson Families,
Another month sweeps by and we are keeping course!
Please do your part to help improve our attendance! Contact the front office If your student will be absent for any reason. Also, if there are any changes to how a student will be getting home, notify the front office.
All after-school programs end at 4 pm so please remember that all students must be picked up by then! Along with that, we will no longer be holding soccer club after school for the rest of this school year!
Please take note of the following dates and events!
- Tolson Art Show is Feb 12th - Begins at 4pm Come see the beautiful art your students have made and purchase them for $5 a piece to help fund the OMA program! PTO will be selling snacks and refreshments, all purchases are CASH ONLY!
- Parent-Teacher Conferences are Feb 13-14 - These days will be half days with dismissal at 11:40am. Contact your students teacher if your child is in need of a conference this semester.
- Rodeo Break is Feb 20-21 - There is NO SCHOOL that Thursday or Friday! Have a safe Rodeo weekend!
- Folklorico Rodeo Performance on Feb 28th - Join us at 6pm in the cafeteria for another fantastic dance performance by our Tolson Folklorico program! Please have dancers arrive at 5pm to get ready!

General Safety Reminders: Please help us keep your children safe!
- Students are not allowed to enter the building before 7:30 a.m. There is no supervision until that time.
- Do not park and abandon your vehicle in the designated drop-off/pick-up lane or in the bus bays. This causes major problems during drop off and dismissal. Please use either parking lots when visiting.
- Follow speed limits in the “School Zones”.
- Encourage your child to report all injuries or unsafe conditions to any adult on campus. If we do not know about circumstances when students are unsafe, we can’t intervene to help.
- Always walk your child into the office when they are tardy. The first bell rings at 8:25am. This is a District policy that is in place to keep your child safe. Never have your children walk to school alone when they are going to be significantly tardy.
- Parent pick-up students must be picked up in designated area in front of school. Please do not park in front of the building.
- You are welcome to sign students out before dismissal when appropriate. Please check them out in our front office.
- Parents/Guardians MUST call the front office when making a change in dismissal procedure. Thank you for helping us keep your child safe!
