The PTA will be recording parent testimonials for a DCPS project that will also be used for the auction video. Video recording will happen this Friday in the garden, starting at 8:45. We'd very much like to include bilingual or multilingual parents who could say “thank you” in a language spoken at home, to include as part of a montage. Please consider donating an item to the auction or reaching out to your contacts at local (or national) businesses who may be able to contribute. If you have a lead or idea, please share with the auction committee at RossAuction2022@gmail.com. Donation deadline is March 31.

In past years, our most popular auction items have been those donated by members of our school community. For example:

• Apartment or vacation home rental for a week or weekend
• Home-cooked meal or baked goods
• Lessons for children or adults based on special skills (e.g. dance, sewing, cooking, etc.)
• Tickets to a show / sporting event
• Hosting a party for a special event
• Babysitting services
• Gift cards

The Ross PTA has reserved a block of 50 discounted tickets ($27 ea) for the Ross community at the upcoming DC United game vs. Toronto FC on Sat. May 21 at 4PM.

If your family would like to attend, but is unable to cover the cost, please let Principal Searl know. The PTA has set aside funds to help make it possible for more families to join.
