Points of P.R.I.D.E.

The ConVal School District invites all residents to a Community Forum discussing the budget, collective bargaining agreement, property tax bills, the proposed withdrawal of Dublin and Francestown from the ConVal School District, and a budget cap petition warrant article.

The event will be held on February 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Lucy Hurlin Theatre at ConVal High School. A snow date has been scheduled for February 19, 2025, at 7:00 PM.

We encourage all residents to attend, hear from key speakers, and participate in the discussion on these important topics affecting our community. This event will be live-streamed on the ConVal Events YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@ConValEvents), and it will be available for viewing anytime after the event.

Lunch will be Shepherd's Pie.

Come to school dressed like you are 100 years old!

Mr. LeGraw will be back for Health and Wellness.

Please remember to send your child with clothes for all weather. We will be outside until it "feels like " 10 degrees. Students need to bring warm layers to enjoy their outside time. Please send your child with a change of clothes, just in case.

We often have indoor recess in the morning but go outside in the afternoon.

We had another great week of learning and fun in 1st and 2nd grade. This week, in Math, we mastered how to add and subtract in vertical form and began learning how to make equations equal. We also continued learning all about the U.S. Symbols – We learned about the White House, Mount Rushmore, the Washington Monument, the Capitol Building, and the Lincoln Memorial.

This week, students started learning about angles, lines, and other geometric terms! They also have been working really hard on their poetry presentations.
