NEW Immunization Requirements for 2020-2021
Dear parents/guardians,
Attached are the new Immunization Requirements for the 2020-2021 School Year. There has been a change. All students K-12 will now need 2 doses of the Hepatitis A vaccine with at least 6 months between the doses. We wanted to make you aware of these changes. Seniors still are required to have the booster dose (#2 MCV4 or Menactra) meningitis vaccine as well. Please check your child’s shot record and contact your provider to schedule appointments. A good time to receive updated vaccinations is over breaks so school is not missed.
To find a clinic that is administering immunizations, please contact the Marion County Health Department at 317-221-5700 to schedule an appointment or to find out about their same day services. Community Clinic at Walgreens may also have some immunizations available. To find a Community Clinic at Walgreens near you, please call 1-855-626-7761.
Lastly, attached is information regarding the flu, covering your cough, and handwashing. By simply covering your cough and adhering to good hand hygiene, this minimizes the spreading of these germs.

If you have already given your student permission to leave ill, please call the attendance line and a pass will be sent for your student to leave. Do not send your student to the clinic if you have already told them they can leave or are being picked up sick.
