SAFE PROGRAM REFLECTION
The SAFE program focuses on increasing the number of teens that wear their seatbelts through education. It is designed to bring awareness to the importance of wearing a seatbelt, therefore, reducing the number of motor-related injuries and fatalities among teens.
The SAFE program at Riceville made every high school student a card to place in their vehicles to serve as a friendly reminder to buckle up every time they drive. After handing the cards out, SAFE students left their peers with this advice...Please remember to wear your seatbelt because someone loves you and wants you to arrive home safely. Let's all join the CLICK and BUCKLE UP!
