Step 4: Come Help Paint It!
Teens interested in painting the mural NEED to attend the April 24th session to learn the basics of mural paining. This session is mandatory to participate in any future painting sessions. The image is on the wall and after the initial training session is complete, we will gather from 3pm to 5pm on select Thursdays after-school to paint it. (May 8, May 22, & June 5)
This program is funded through a partnership with Arts for Learning and thanks to the Conable Family Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo.

HOME ALONE SAFETY TRAINING for Ages 8-12 yrs
Designed to teach children who are Home Alone the importance of behaving responsibly.
Workshop includes:
- basic first aid tips,
- safely answering the phone/door,
- internet safety, and
- how to react during emergencies such as power outages, fires and illness.
Ages 8-12 yrs = 10:30 am – 11:45 am
Parents and students = 11:45 am – 12 noon
Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision; preparation can make this next step easier. Caregivers, please join us for the last 15 minutes for a mandatory safety wrap-up.

The OWWL Library Tour encourages everyone to visit ALL of the OWWL Libraries in 2025.
This system wide program will run from January 2025 to December 2025. To participate, visit each library in the county and complete the corresponding county maps by collecting book stickers at each library.
