Students from the 5th Grade Gold & Blue Crew will be bringing the school store to your child's Pod to shop for a variety of Vernfield items on Monday, March 25th (K, 1, 2, 4, 5) and Tuesday, March 26th (3rd).

Vernfield is excited to honor the work that our students did for our dance-a-thon fundraiser by holding “PJ DAY” on Tuesday, March 26!

Please see the guidelines below for students wishing to wear PJs to school:

-PJ fit and fabric should be appropriate for school

-PJs should be clean

-Underwear needs be worn under PJs

-No slippers, no robes, no stuffed animals

-Students should wear socks and shoes

Vernfield Earth Day Activities will be held on Friday, April 19th during the day. The rain date will be Friday, April 26th.

We will need a lot of parent support in order to make this day a success. If you are able to come help out for even a portion of the day, please sign up below. All volunteers will need clearances on file with the office.

2024 Vernfield Earth Day Event

Vernfield 3rd-5th graders will be outside in the morning and the K-2nd graders will celebrate Earth Day in the afternoon. We will have numerous outdoor stations that need parent volunteers, including trail maintenance, games, crafts and more!

Vernfield Lip Sync participants did not disappoint the audience!

Friday evening began with all the student acts parading around the Indian Crest Middle School auditorium. Followed by the Vernfield faculty captivating the crowd with their Ken and Barbie performance, Dance the Night.

Next, fifty-six student performances riveted the packed house with singing and dancing. Guitars, blow up monsters and costumes added to the magnificent evening.

Thank you to all those guests who donated wipes and diapers for Fostering Hope Bucks. In addition, a shout out to the Vernfield Home and School Committee for once again organizing a fun-filled event! #VernfieldElementary

The Vernfield HSA Lip Sync Committee would like to send a special thanks to the 50+ plus parent volunteers who made the event run smoothly, including the parents who coordinated acts, practices and costumes to make the night so much fun.

The Committee also would like to thank the brave students who got on stage and performed. It was a really special evening!
