The Board approved $33,514,542 for the construction of the new Audubon Elementary. This price is $1 million under budget.
The construction will include the following:
- increased flex space for students,
- durable, low-maintenance flooring,
- and enhanced safety and security that exceeds the state requirements.
The construction timeline is on track to meet the August 2024 opening. Meeting this timeline required ordering electrical switchgear in January, as the lead time is 52 weeks.
