Miller Memo
September 25, 2024 Edition
Miller Career & Technology Center students and parents,
I hope you all enjoyed your recent 3-day weekend and your 2nd six weeks has started strong! Please read below for a few campus updates, initiatives, and reminders.
Kelley Kirila
Principal, MCTC
Superintendent's Leadership Circle
We are so proud of our 4 students who were selected to serve on Dr. Gregorski's Student Leadership Circle. They are going to provide valuable insight to our district's leadership and represent Miller well. Congratulations! From left to right: Bailey McBride, Jennifer Ruano, Nikholi Chiuswa, and Jay Van Dyke.
MCTC Student Ambassadors
We were overwhelmed with the response to the MCTC Student Ambassador applications released a few weeks ago with 186 applicants. It was rewarding to read through each application as we made our selections. This week, students have received/will receive a letter indicating his/her application status. We are excited to start this new program on our campus!
Vote Texas
As a public high school, it is our duty to provide eligible high school students with the opportunity to register to vote under Section 13.046(a) of the Texas Election Code. Voter registration forms will be distributed to eligible students through Government classes at MCTC. Additionally, voter registration forms are available in our front office reception area and our Assistant Principals' offices.
The Salon at Miller
