Weekly Update - December 8, 2024
Good morning Phoenix Families,
A big thank you to our families who attended our Term 1 interviews this past week. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our student volunteers for their help throughout the evening!
Our holiday concerts for grade 6 take place this week and we are certainly looking forward to all of our festive events that will be taking place prior to our winter break. Students are encouraged to get involved and to experience some of the holiday magic that PI has to offer!

RYCOR - Outstanding Fees
Families are reminded to review RYCOR accounts to submit payment for any outstanding school or school sports related fees. Any outstanding fees for this term are asked to be submitted no later than December 6th.
Holiday Happenings
Our student leadership group has been busy putting together some holiday fun in the lead up to the holiday break. Our Disguise a Gingerbread Contest has been a huge success and we have lots of other holiday fun planned- please see the attached file for all the details. There are theme dress up days, lunch time activities, holiday bingo and several contests that students can participate in for the chance to win some small prizes at our assembly before the holiday break. This Thursday, December 12th is "Top to Bottom Holidays" Day- wacky hair, holiday hats, holiday socks or any combination of these!
Dismissal - December 20th
Grade 6 Holiday Concert
Our grade 6 Holiday Concerts will be taking place on Wednesday, Dec. 11th and Thursday, Dec. 12th. Classes taking part on each night have been listed below. Doors for our concerts will open at 6:45 and our performances will begin at 7:00
Concert tickets are now available through RYCOR for 5.00$ each and will be distributed by homeroom teachers once purchased through our RYCOR system. Families who wish to purchase tickets are encouraged to do so prior to the morning of December 9th. (Please ensure you are selecting Jingle Bell Jukebox when added tickets to your cart on through RYCOR.)
A limited number of extra tickets will become available for families beginning on Monday, December 9th. Those looking for additional tickets are asked to email paradiseintermediate@nlesd.ca and an additional fee will be added to your RYCOR account.
We look forward to having families join us for our festive celebration of Jingle Bell Jukebox!

Winter Wonderland at Paradise Intermediate
Save the Date! Winter Wonderland at Paradise Intermediate is a family friendly event filled with holiday cheer! The night will feature holiday music and the Drama Club's performance of Ebony Scrooge by D.M. Larson. There will also be some holiday treats available for purchase (cash only). Tickets will be available for purchase on RYCOR early next week.
