Dear Charger Family,
With the lottery coming early this year, please spread the word to friends about our upcoming information sessions on Wed, Nov 20, Tues Dec 3 and Thu, Dec 12th. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Virtual School had the highest student academic growth of any virtual school in North Carolina. This means that our students grew the most in 23-24 of any virtual program in the whole state. This is huge news and is a testament to our teachers, students and families! We are state leaders!
Congratulations to the following Chargers who earned college athletic scholarships and participated in Signing Day! They have been dedicated students while also very disciplined in their athletics. We are so proud of them:

It is of paramount importance that we maximize instructional time and student engagement at CMVS. In light of that, we have explicated our attendance policy which can be reviewed below. Students must arrive at synchronous sessions on time. Students will not be permitted into class if they are ten minutes late or later as it is a disruption to the learning and halts the process of instruction for the teacher. Thank you for supporting your student’s success with this.

MID-YEAR GRADUATES--CAP & GOWN PICK UP!
Herff Jones will be on campus to distribute caps, gowns, and other graduation items TO MID-YEAR GRADUATES ONLY on Wednesday, January 8th, from 9 am - 11 am. We are located at 7030 Nations Ford Rd. For students who can't make the pick-up day/time, Herff Jones will leave all items with us at CMVS. If you still need to order, please visit the Herff Jones site. DRIVER'S ED
Students who are interested in taking the Drivers Education course during the week should contact Jordan Driving School for more information: http://www.jordandrivingschoolcharlotte.com/.
Once the course has been completed, the drivers eligibility form for DMV can be received from Charlotte Mecklenburg Virtual School. Students must be in good academic standing to obtain their eligibilty certficate. Eligibility forms are available for pick up on Wednesdays from 9 AM to 2 PM.
