SAMUEL V. CHAMPION HIGH SCHOOL
BACK TO SCHOOL UPDATE - July 7, 2024

CAMPUS NEWSLETTER - Feb. 10th
It’s ALWAYS a great day to be a CHAMPION CHARGER!
As I am deciding what goes out this week to our parents, families, students and staff, I find myself truly thinking about how lucky we are to be part of Boerne ISD. Champion is a very special place to be. The quote from Dr. Angela Duckworth, as seen here, describes our students, staff and faculty perfectly. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t see every member of our campus community strive to do their absolute best to learn, teach, inspire and guide each other to persevere through all of the daily challenges and do it with grace.
Everyone faces challenges each and every day. How you handle those challenges and what you choose to do with them is what makes you the best version of you! The students and teachers at Champion include all and strive to be the best they can be in their academics, sports, competitions and in becoming and being a remarkable citizen. I look forward to showcasing all of their successes each week and knowing that there is never a week that goes by that there aren’t successes to be shared! The campus is booming with life, laughter, and students and teachers collaborating! This week as you reflect on what “Grit” means to you, check out our new news team. They are working hard to bring campus life into perspective and to share that with our student community. Thank you again, for trusting us with your children. We are grateful.
Please see all of the attached celebrations, upcoming events, testing opportunities, and items to assist you and your student in planning for the spring. Thank you again for your continued support for Champion High School, our students, staff, and families!
WE ARE CHAMPION!

On the second day the boys came all the way back to take 2nd place by playing the best round of the day shooting a 308.
