Principal Newsletter Notes
Keep Up with What's Going on at the Hill!
I hope everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving break and had some time to relax. Last week, we were thankful for so many things! First, our new assistant principal, Mr. Syed began and got to meet the staff and students. His positive presence is already making an impact with our bulldogs. Additionally, we were able to recognize Mr. Guerrieri as this year's teacher of the year! Mr. G has been a dedicated bulldog for 14 years and was able to assist as the interim assistant principal this year. Many students wrote about the difference he has made in their lives. We are continually grateful for teachers like Mr. G that go beyond the classroom to make a difference. Shout out to all the nominees! Go Bulldogs.
This week, students will be taking a short survey which purpose to help us plan lessons and activities to meet the needs of our students. Information is provided below. We have used this information to plan lessons, such as the lesson our 8th grade bulldog ambassadors are conducting next week in 6th grade gym study halls. They will be help students learn how to navigate digital dilemma's and make healthy choices when dealing with online behaviors. We are grateful for our peer mentors.
There are many activities occurring this month. Please continue to refer back to important dates and the activities calendar to stay informed. Check out our new Building Better Bulldog page.
Sincerely,
Ms. Egizi
