❤️ MMS Student Council to host "Pal-entine's Week"- Celebration of Friendship ❤️
MMS Student Council, in partnership with our School Counseling Office, is hosting a week long celebration of friendship and kindness during the week of Valentine's Day (10th- 14th). During that week, students can bring in money to buy 2- lollipops for $1 to send to their friends for "Pal-entine's Week." More information to come at our February Mustang Monday meeting.
Winter Spirit Week Wrap Up
December's Spirit Week was an absolute blast! From creative hallway decorations to fun dress up days, the school was full of energy and excitement. A huge congratulations to Team Katahdin for winning the Best Hallway award with their impressive and creative decorations. In the photo to the left you can see the fireplace that Team Katahdin decided to keep for the winter—their students have made a sweet tradition of having their breakfast by the "fireplace" each morning!
Shout out to Team Sebago for taking home the title of Best Spirit Week Dress up! We wrapped up the week with an exciting performance by the school band playing "We Will Rock You," setting the tone for the highly anticipated staff vs. student dodgeball game. It was a fun showdown with teachers dressed up in inflatable costumes. Winter Spirit Week was unforgettable. Go Mustangs!
Class Spotlight 🔦
Grade 7 Health Spotlight - BODYLAND Amusement Park Project
Over several class sessions, students conducted research, built models, and prepared presentations to share what they had learned. Their presentations covered the structure, function, and importance of their assigned system, and each student used creative visual aids and interactive elements to engage their classmates.
The project and presentation encouraged collaboration as they asked questions and shared knowledge with one another. First semester 7th graders walked away with a deeper appreciation for the wonders of the human body.

Please note that middle school students are encouraged to attend high school sporting events, but must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
