SOKOLOWSKI SCHOOL UPDATES
7th Annual Sokolowski School Turkey Trot
All the students at the Sokolowski School participated in the 7th Annual Turkey Trot Fun today! The rain kept us inside but didn't keep us from having fun and moving! Students pretended to be turkeys and ran, jumped, dodged and "hid" from the farmer! During the event students wrote or drew something they are thankful for on a paper feather. The feathers were added to our Shark Turkey! This will be on display in the hallway by the main office. We ended with some turkey dancing and turkey stretches!
The week leading up to the event the students demonstrated the Action block of the Pyramid of Success and brought in 395 food items to donate to The Chelsea Revere Family Network! Our Student Council helped run the event. They explained the event to the whole school at our School Meeting, helped with the 1st Grade event, and sorted and counted cans! They were also able to take a walking field trip to help deliver the items! They were excited to help our school community and the Chelsea community! Happy Thanksgiving from the Sokolowski School! Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!
