International Walk & Roll to School Day is Tuesday, October 4th! Please join Westgate staff and students on one of our 6 “Walking School Bus” routes.

The following locations have been selected in the Westgate community as meeting points where students can gather to walk together with Westgate teachers and volunteers. The locations and departure times are:

• Route #1 – Highland & Fairview (departure 8:30am)

• Route #2 – Ridge & Sigwalt (departure 8:35am)

• Route #3 – Dwyer & Heather (departure 8:40am) - includes bus students

• Route #4 – Grove & Reuter (departure 8:45am)

• Route #5 - Pioneer CAP (departure 8:40am)

• A sixth PM Kindergarten route (Route #6) will depart from Grove & Kennicott at 12:40pm.

This event will not be held in case of inclement weather.

At Westgate School, we value a strong partnership between home and school. Twice a year, once in October and once in February, time is provided for Parent-Teacher Conferences. Parent-Teacher Conferences are a valuable time to share information and discuss the progress of our students.

Parents can sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences online using Sign-up Genius. You will receive an email from Westgate Administration on September 27th, initiating the scheduling process at 7 pm. The window for signing up for fall conferences will be Tuesday, September 27th at 7 pm through Tuesday, October 11, at Noon.

To be fair and equitable to all our Westgate families, each family may sign up for only one evening conference each year. Families can either sign up for an evening conference in the fall or the spring, not both.

We look forward to successful parent/teacher conferences!
