Lake Bluff Elementary School Family Newsletter
Dear Lake Bluff Families,
We are looking forward to seeing you in school over the next couple of days. Conferences are a great time to connect with your student's teacher and catch up on their progress. While you are here, please take time to check the lost and found which is in our front vestibule. All unclaimed items will be donated.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend,
Johanna French, Interim Principal
Here is a picture of our entire school. In order to make this happen our students needed to:
Listen to directions
Keep their hands to themselves
Stay very still and quiet
Use a LOT of self control
Work as a CREW!
Congratulations to a job well done!!
A Message from Rebecca Benedict, Dean of Students
If you are running late to pick up your child for any reason, please call the office at 963-6972 x0. We are reminding students that if they are expecting an adult and the adult has not arrived within 5 minutes, they should go to the office to wait. This is to ensure that all students are safe and accounted for.
If making it to dismissal on time is challenging and your child will need supervision after school, we kindly encourage you to explore the Milestones program for after-school care. Our staff are not available to provide childcare beyond dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation!

Meet our Staff
Every week we will try to showcase some important people that you may not know who contribute to the success of Lake Bluff.
Bonnie Adams
Ms. Adams has worked at Lake Bluff in a variety of roles for the past 29 years. Currently, she is our building substitute teacher and fills in where ever we need her. She has been a Shorewood resident since 1986. Truly a staple in our school and community.
Ms. Adams' Fun Fact: Ms. Adams swam with crocodiles in Australia. She is our very own Steve Irwin!
Impact of Technology on Kids
Franklin Public Schools and Pewaukee School District will be hosting a Family Info Series that will educate parents about the impact that technology is having on our children. Franklin Public Schools is targeting audiences of the Milwaukee Metro area while Pewaukee is targeting the Waukesha area although anyone from anywhere can attend either. Please see the flyer for dates and find one that works best for you! You can also view the movie at childhood2movie.com
