Efficacy Study on 1:1 Coaching
Efficacy Study Title: 1:1 Coaching has a measurable impact on educator and student success.
This year-long efficacy study establishes that teachers using an evidence-backed High-Quality Professional Learning (HQPL) approach:
- Were associated with higher reading scores among elementary students.
- Were significantly associated with higher teaching self-efficacy and value for professional learning (PL).
- Were significantly associated with higher mastery-approach goals and value for PL.
- Had higher end-of-year math and reading scores compared to students whose teachers did not receive 1:1 coaching.
