Thanksgiving Break - Classes will not be in session from November 24th through November 26th and resume on Monday, November 29th.
HSPS No-Tax Increase Bond Proposal - Our school district is preparing to place a no tax-rate increase bond proposal on the May 2022 ballot. During November, the District is inviting staff, parents, and community members to give their input prior to finalizing ballot language for the proposal in December. All HSPS community members are invited to view a 5-minute video about the bond projects under consideration. After viewing the video, please participate in a brief survey developed by an independent Michigan-based survey research firm. Your confidential responses to the survey will provide valuable information that will help the Board of Education finalize the ballot proposal that will be on the May 2022 ballot. The video and survey are open through midnight on Saturday, November 27th. Please help us by viewing the video and completing the survey during that period.
Yearbook Information
Hello Parents and Guardians!
This is a note from Ms Talcott, 6-12th art teacher and K-8th yearbook creator for the 20-21 school year.
Firstly, I apologize for the continued delays in getting your students 2020-21 yearbook to them.
Secondly, I want to assure you that last year's yearbook will be completed and delivered to you as promised. :)
The elementary yearbook (s) should be in the printing process soon and delivered close to/around the winter break time period.
If you did NOT purchase a yearbook from last year and wish to, please email me directly at jtalcott@harborps.org and I will see what I can do about opening up the purchasing window again.
Again, my apologies for the delay and frustration that this may have or be causing.
Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions.
All the best,
Ms Talcott

Second Grade Rocks!
BRRRR!
Make sure your children are dressed for the weather! Children will be sent out to play unless temperatures/wind chill drop below zero! The schools use WeatherBug to check weather updates.
Also, please send in extra clothing for your child. Many children have accidents or get wet throughout the day and will need an extra set of clothing.
