Counselor's Corner: Tips for Managing Stress and Anxiety
The end of the year can bring extra stress for many, whether due to the holiday season, upcoming exams, or the transition to a new year. Here are some tips for managing stress and maintaining well-being:
- Take Breaks: Remember to take short breaks throughout the day to rest and recharge.
- Practice Gratitude: Reflect on things you are thankful for, no matter how small. This can help shift your mindset to a more positive outlook.
- Stay Active: Exercise is a great way to release tension and boost mood.
- Reach Out for Support: Whether it’s through talking to a counselor, teacher, or family member, it’s okay to ask for help when things feel overwhelming.
