Molnar's Community Update
August 30, 2024
Comet Nation,
In case you missed it, the Robotics and Automation programs at Marion L. Steele have recently been awarded the Ohio Career Technical Education (CTE) Equipment Grant from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce for $1.6 million. This is fantastic news that will develop and strengthen student skills in the advanced manufacturing workforce.
As a result of this grant, Toolkit Technologies will be bringing their interactive Werk Wagon to Marion L. Steele to preview and interact with examples of new equipment that will be purchased. The Werk Wagon is a great way to showcase to our community all that this grant will be adding to our Robotics and Automation program. We encourage everyone and anyone to come check it out during conferences on October 10th from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Special Guest, Comet Man, will be there to greet guests between 3:00 and 4:00 P.M.
This is for everyone in the community, not just for our Steele students and their families, so make plans to come check it out. To learn more, watch the video below!
You won't want to miss this upcoming #CometCommunity Information Night!
Assistant Superintendent Sarah Walker and Technology Innovation Specialist Amanda Sears will be presenting on "AI Uncovered: A Community Introduction". This information night will be a good way to learn more about AI as it continues to grow in popularity.
We hope you will come learn more about AI and ask questions to have a better understanding. This event is open to parents/guardians and community members. It will not be live-streamed, so please make plans to attend!
