We are off to a GREAT start to the school year...
Bus Drills
We appreciate you discussing bus safety at home.
Our next bus drills will be Wednesday, November 6th.
Fire Drills
We started fire drill practice this week.
We completed 3 drills!
We will complete 3 more drills this Fall
Then we will resume practice in the Spring.
School Safety
Building safety will remain a top priority this school year. We appreciate the vigilance of our Staff and our Community to ensure our students safety and maximize learning opportunities.
Reminder Lock Down Drills will be announced, if you approach the building and the blue light is flashing you will be denied entry until the drill is completed.

Family Communication Platform:
We will be utilizing the "ROOMS" platform as our District Communication tool for this School Year.
Teachers, Coaches, and Main Office Staff will use this to push out information to our families as well as receive two way communication back and forth to creating lasting home to school relationships with our PHCS Families.

Currently, the school-based mental health counselor for Parishville-Hopkinton Central School District is DanKnight, LCSW. Dan grew up in St. Lawrence County before attending SUNY Geneseo and SUNY Potsdam to complete his bachelors degree in psychology. He then received his master’s in social work from SUNY Albany. Dan has worked with a variety of populations including inner-city high school athletes, college students, patients and families dealing with terminal illnesses and bereavement, as well as clients ranging in age from early childhood to late adulthood, providing care to folks struggling with a multitude of difficulties and diagnoses. Dan specializes in strengths-based therapy that is client-centered, unconditionally supportive, evidence-guided, and culturally sensitive. “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be welcomed into the school and local communities in the PHCS district, and I look forward to learning from you and providing support in the county that I love and owe so much.”
