Campus Hall Pass Coming Next Week
Campus Hall Pass is a digital system that manages hall passes and prevents unauthorized meetups. It helps increase school safety and student accountability.
Is It Secure? We prioritize data privacy and strictly protect school and student information—no GPS tracking or individual student monitoring. Students will continue using the restroom lanyard from classrooms, without bringing iPads or phones into restrooms.
What are the Benefits?
· Fewer disruptions allow teachers to focus on teaching, maximizing learning time for students.
· Students can access restrooms of their choice but should do so promptly.
· Identifies students who are outside of the classroom during emergencies.
What Have Other Schools Said?
- “Campus Hall Pass has been great! It keeps students safe, accountable, and on time.”
- “Our restrooms feel much safer, and students are less frustrated.”
Picture Retake Day Thursday, October 3
Picture retake day for students is Thursday, October 3, 7:30 am -11:00 am.

AVHS School Safety Protocols
At Apple Valley High School, safety and security are top priorities. We have secure entryways, conduct regular safety drills, and follow emergency response protocols with trained staff. All visitors must present a government-issued ID before entering our school.
In an emergency, we will announce HOLD, SECURE, LOCKDOWN, EVACUATE, or SHELTER. Students will participate in drills for each throughout the year. In case of an actual emergency, we will notify families via phone, text, and email through our mass notification system. Please ensure your contact information is up to date in Infinite Campus to receive these alerts.
Safety is a shared responsibility, and we encourage students and families to report concerns using our confidential tip line which can be found on the AVHS Website under "Contact". If you have any concerns about your student, please reach out to us for support.
We value our partnership with local police and fire departments to ensure safety and preparedness at AVHS. We will continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of our entire Eagle community.
