Our school is thrilled to participate in The Great Kindness Challenge this Januaryβa global initiative to spread kindness and compassion! πβ€οΈ
βοΈ The Challenge:
During their first week of January, your student will bring home a Kindness Checklist to track their good deeds. Check their backpack π and encourage them to complete as many acts of kindness as possibleβat school, at home, and in the community! π
β¨ Hereβs what to expect:
- Kindness Week (Jan. 27β31):
π K-5 students will create a Kindness Quilt to showcase their caring actions.
πΌοΈ Grades 6-8 will design Positive Affirmation Tiles to inspire and uplift their peers.
Letβs work together to lift each other up, cheer one another on, and show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS! ππͺ
To prepare for the first day of school, please complete your volunteer application here. This includes emailing the office a copy of your ID.
Approved background checks are good for two years. If you completed your application in the previous school year no action is needed at this time.
The transportation department is providing morning shuttle bus services for our program. The shuttle stops will be at Silver Star, Pioneer, Mill Plain, and Marrion.
