HMR Fall Updates for Families
Message from the Principal
Falling into Learning!
Dear HMR Families,
We are fully immersed in learning at HMR! Students are used to their routines and clearly understand what the expectations are in their classrooms and throughout the school. The District has revised our calendar to provide more and earlier opportunities for Parent/Teacher Conferences. At upcoming conferences, you can expect to hear about your child's academic and social development at school. We will share assessment information and discuss how we can work together to foster growth. If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please contact your child's teacher!
Prior to meeting with the teacher(s), here are a few things you can be doing to help your child have successful school days:
- Help ensure children arrive to school on time(8:40am entry, late at 8:55am or after)
- Send your children to school(unless they are sick)
- Keep a consistent homework and bedtime routine at home
- Encourage reading and math fact practice regularly
- Fall Reading BINGO going on until 11/27
- Math Fact Lab to practice facts at home(more information here)
- Follow our school calendar to stay in the know!
