Color Guard Auditions

Color Guard Auditions

AGHS Color Guard will be holding auditions for the 2024 season Monday June 3, 3:45-5:30 at the AGHS Band Room. Color Guard is an integral part of the half-time show at football games and competitions, and performs in local parades during the fall season. No experience is required; there will be some training for beginners at the audition.

Yearbooks will be handed out in room 801 starting Tuesday, May 28th at break and lunch. To confirm purchase, Students & their Parent/Guardian that purchased a yearbook will be sent a notice on ParentSquare. Please be aware that there are no extra yearbooks for purchase this year.

~Records Office Important Message~

Important Message for 9th - 11th grade students and parents. The Records Office needs to know if you WILL NOT be attending AGHS for the 2024/25 school year. Please contact Mrs. Murphy in the Records Office (deena.murphy@lmusd.org) and let her know your plans for next year. You may request copies of transcripts or immunizations if needed for enrollment at your new school.

Spring Blood Drive

The blood drive will take place on WEDNESDAY, MAY 29TH in the MPR. Please sign up to donate with Mr. Sligh in room 802 during break or lunch. Donors must be 16 years or older to donate.

Clubs should know in order to advertise for your club's special events, please turn your announcement into room #205 for posting. Going forward, flyers will be hung in Eagle Hall, on the tri marquee and blue board in the quad, on the Softball Shed wall, outside room #912, and in the admin building window. All other posters will be removed.

Clear Absences by 4pm Tuesday, 6/11/24. Please make sure that the Attendance Office is informed of the reason for any still unverified absences for 5/20/24 - 06/07/24. After that date, we will not be able to make any changes.

College & Military Visits

College & Military Visits

Seniors and Juniors planning a college/military visit should stop by the Attendance Office to pick up an Excused Absence Request form ahead of their visit. If approved, up to two days may be excused. Visits that will last longer than two days would require a Short Term Independent Study Contract to excuse the absence.

Two six-week summer courses on the SLO campus. Enrichment activities, support services, academic coaching, and peer mentoring. Limited to first 25 students.

Cuesta Summer STEM Camp for grades 10 & 11

Students interested in studying STEM subjects in college and career are encouraged to apply! This camp is offered at AG High School, June 10-13. Students will learn about the generation and use of electricity, energy conservation, and environmental impact with hands-on energy labs. Application is due May 31st.
