Hello Spartans!

We have had a wonderful week at Strafford School. A huge shout out to the athletes, families, coaches and volunteers for their support of the Fall Sports Banquet! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Veterans Day Ceremony this past Friday as well - especially to our Veterans. Your presence and support helped make both these events wonderful ceremonies. We are truly grateful for your involvement and commitment to our school community.

As we move into the week ahead, we hope it’s filled with positive moments for all. We have so much to celebrate! Wishing you all a fantastic week!

We were honored to host local Veterans, families and guests Friday for our annual Veterans Day assembly. Thank you to all who attended for their service. We would also like to thank Ms.Grady and the band and chorus for a lovely performance and to NJHS for assisting with the Veterans.

We are opening another spiritwear store though Collins Sports that will be here for the holiday season. They have jackets, winter hats, pajamas, and the much loved t-shirts and sweatshirts. Orders need to be placed by 11/17/24 and they will arrive the week of 12/16/24. You can order HERE.

Lost and Found is starting to overflow! Please feel free to come take a look! Stop by the main office to sign in anytime during the day. If these times don't work please reach out to jclark@strafford.k12.nh.us to set something up. Students are urged to check Lost and Found anytime!

Every Friday is HAT DAY! Students may wear their favorite hat to school all day if they bring in $1! Thank you for supporting the 8th grade class!

You can send money into the office ANYTIME and we will send a blanket home!

NJHS is collecting non perishable food items for Strafford families in need this holiday season. Items can be dropped off in the main office anytime. Cash/check donations are also accepted. Please make checks out to Strafford School. Thank you!

Any middle school students (grades 5-8) wanting to tryout for a middle school basketball team must be signed up for tryouts. If you have not already completed the registration, please complete it before tryouts by clicking on the link below.

Basketball Tryout Sign Ups

Tryouts have been scheduled starting next week. Girls will hold tryouts on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:00. Boys will hold tryouts on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:30. Thursdays will either be a third day of tryouts if necessary or a regular practice day. Coaches will inform athletes on Wednesday of that decision. On Thursday, boys will play first from 3:30 to 5:30 and girls will play second from 5:30 to 7:30.

Please update Pick Up Patrol if necessary. Choose "Athletics" and add "basketball" as a note. Reach out to the office with any questions.

To put money on your students' account, you can pay on the online portal HERE or send cash/check in to the main office. Please make checks out to Strafford School.

We want to show our staff how THANKFUL we are for all their hard work! We are treating them to a taco bar on Tuesday November 26th (the day before Thanksgiving break). Please take a look at the sign up for donations HERE.

Do you have gently used, unwanted knick knacks and yard sale type items? We will take them! Nothing bigger than a toaster, no clothes and no stuffed animals please! These items are used for our K-4 Holiday Shop! Students purchase little goodies for family members for the holidays and it's a Strafford School tradition! Items can be dropped off to the main office at any time!
