Career Exploration

Count Day is this Wednesday, 2/12. Student attendance is extremely important on this day. Students are encouraged to attend all of their classes, and absences should be reported to the attendance office.

Do you have a current 8th grader who will be attending LCN in the 25-26 school year? Come to our 8th Grade Parent Night, where you will be acquainted with the school and its staff. You will also learn about curriculum options as we provide guidance so you and your student know what to expect next year.

When: 6pm-8pm on Monday, February 10th

Due to the ice day last week, LCN's Course Fair has been extended! Students can stop by the commons during lunches on Monday to check out potential electives for next year. In addition, counselors are available in the commons during all 3 lunches to answer questions and assist students with the scheduling process.

On Wednesday of last week, students received their Course Selection Sheets to build their schedules for the 25-26 school year. These sheets are due on Tuesday, 2/11. Students should have a parent or guardian's signature on the form, and return it to their 2nd hour teacher.

Course input will take place on Wednesday, 2/12, and cannot be completed without a parent or guardian's signature.

9th graders received yellow sheets for their 10th grade year.

10th graders received blue sheets for their 11th grade year.

11th graders received pink sheets for their 12th grade year.

Thursday, Feb 13th will be a half-day. Students will attend their first and second hour classes, and they will be dismissed at 10:30.

There will be no school Friday, Feb 14th through Tuesday, Feb 18th. Classes resume on Wednesday, February 19th.

Early this week, we will be distributing our second round of Cru Cards during lunches! These will reflect criteria from Quarter 2. Students are highly encouraged to pick theirs up as soon as possible, as certain rewards have expiration dates.

If you were unable to attend last week's parent meetings, we will be sending out the information that was shared in the next few days.
